Bond It HA6 is a high quality marine-grade acetoxy cure RTV silicone sealant developed for demanding sealing, bonding and gasketing applications. It is particularly well suited to aquarium construction because the cured silicone remains permanently flexible and the formulation contains no fungicides or oils that may leach into water. This makes HA6 a trusted choice for bonding, bedding and sealing glass in fish tanks, aquariums, vivariums and terrariums when used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

This listing covers all available colours and pack sizes. HA6 provides excellent adhesion to glass, ceramics, anodised aluminium, primed metals, timber and many plastics. It is also suitable for producing in-situ gaskets and seals around pumps and pipework, helping prevent water ingress in marine and aquatic installations. The non-slumping paste is easy to gun and tool, allowing neat beads and seals on both vertical and horizontal joints.

Once cured, HA6 is unaffected by UV light, ozone and saltwater immersion, and it remains stable across a wide service temperature range from -60°C to +180°C. Its high movement accommodation makes it suitable for joints subject to expansion and contraction, while the non-shrinking formulation helps maintain a durable long-term seal. It can be used for interior and exterior applications and is UKCA approved.

Surfaces should be clean, dry and free from grease, oil and contaminants. Porous surfaces and most metals should be primed where required. HA6 is not recommended for bitumen, asphalt, natural stone, unprimed metals or mirror bonding. Do not apply below +5°C or above +30°C. All coverage and dimensional figures are approximate.
