Bostik Express Pointing Mortar Grey & Buff 310ml
Bostik Express Pointing Mortar is a ready-to-use repair mortar developed for quickly restoring damaged joints in brickwork and stonework without the time, mess or preparation involved in mixing traditional mortar. It is supplied as a smooth, gunnable paste and applies directly from a standard cartridge gun, making it a practical choice for maintenance, repair and small pointing projects.
The mortar is suitable for filling and repairing masonry joints, sealing between stones and brick slips, and finishing around lead flashing. It can be used inside or outside and normally requires no primer on most sound substrates, including surfaces that are slightly damp. Once fully cured, it may be overpainted with compatible water-based or synthetic paints.
For best results, remove loose material, dust, oil and grease before application. The joint should be at least 5mm deep. Apply a solid fill with the supplied V-nozzle, tool the mortar after approximately five minutes, then remove excess material after a further five to ten minutes. Protect the fresh mortar from rain for at least five hours. A small test area is recommended to confirm adhesion and colour suitability.
