This high-quality metric socket set is made from chrome vanadium steel (CR-V) which is correctly hardened and tempered for strength and durability. The components are finished with satin chrome plating for corrosion protection. Manufactured and tested in accordance with valid DIN and ISO standards. The 1/2, 72-tooth ratchets are equipped with an easy-to-use reverse lever to change the direction. It has a quick-release button to allow the rapid locking and quick release of sockets. Fitted with an ergonomic soft grip handle. The Draper HI-TORQ sockets deliver optimum leverage with minimal risk of damage. That is because they are engineered to securely grip the flats rather than the corners of the fixings. So, they are less likely to slip and there is less risk of stripping the edges - even if the fixings are already damaged. There is a selection of Draper HI-TORQ combination spanners with 12-point ring ends that are chamfered and deep offset at 15 degrees. This delivers maximum leverage by transferring torque to the flats. It also simultaneously prevents slipping or damage to the fastener. The open end is also offset at 15 degrees for easier working in confined spaces. A wide range of screwdriver bits is organised in its own plastic storage case. The bits are made from high-quality CR-V steel and have a shot blast finish. The set includes many attachments and tools, including universal joints, extension bars and a sliding T-bar. There is also a spark plug socket, pliers, flexible hose screwdriver, and a pickup tool with integral LED light for retrieving nuts and washers in poorly lit, tight areas. Supplied in a robust plastic case for ease of transportation and storage.
