The Faithfull Bolt Cutters have handles that are fully forged in alloy steel which has a very elastic limit. The cutter adjustment has an eccentric mechanism (a cammed bolt which adjusts the cutter head when turned) to compensate for blade wear.

The cutting blades are entirely forged from heavily alloyed steel which produces a thoroughly hardened blade with a sound structure. One side of the blade is flush and therefore ideal for the close cutting of protruding bolts. The ground edges of the cutting blades are subjected to a second hardening process which ensures maximum hardness of the cutting surface.
