Hygeia Weedfree Total Weedkiller
FOR USE ONLY AS AN AMATEUR HOME AND GARDEN WEEDKILLER
For the effective control of unwanted annual and deep-rooted perennial weeds, including grasses, docks, nettles, willowherb, dandelion, bindweed and many more.
The product is inactivated on contact with the soil and is broken down by soil organisms to leave no lasting residues.
Apply when weed foliage is fully open to the spray. Do not spray in windy conditions, drift can cause damage or kill valued plants. Do not walk on treated areas until they dry, to avoid transferring onto lawns other wanted vegetation. Rainfall within 6 hours of application may reduce effectiveness and require re-treatment.
First effects may show from a few days upto 4 weeks later depending on the weather and type of weed. Cultivate after at least 7 days. Some tough weeds, e.g. ground elder may need repeated treatment after 3-4 weeks if regrowth appears. Repeat only once during growing season.
How to use
Shake well before use. Apply with either a plastic watering can fitted with a fine-medium rose or apply with a hand held sprayer as a medium-course spray. With either application method spray weed leaves lightly until wet, but avoid run-off.
Mixing - Amount of product to be added
Water can application - 60ml into 5 litres covers 25sq metres. Put about 2 litres of clean water into the watering can, add required amount of product, stir well and add more water to make up to 5 litres.
Hand-held Sprayer - 100ml into 1 litre covers 40sq metres. Add 100ml of product to 1 litre of water in sprayer. Shake/agitate the mixture thoroughly before use. Use immediately after mixing.
Do not mix, apply or store in galvanised or unlined mild steel containers or watering cans.
Future Planting – Has no long-lasting effects in soil after application. Cultivations and planting can be conducted 7 days after application or after leaves have become yellow or have died back.
Care of Equipment – Wash equipment thoroughly after use with water to remove traces of the product. Traces of the product left in the equipment may seriously damaged or destroy plant sprayed with the same equipment at a later date.
