The induction hardened cutting edges to HRC 64 offer durability and a long-life service, they give an unrivalled cutting performance and easily cuts wires close to objects.

They have precision ground sharp cutting jaw edges that will cut through a range of hard materials including – springs, nails, rivets and bolts. These cutters are built to last with a robust construction and rust proof finish. The compound lever action multiplies hand force by 14 for less cutting effort. The handles are zinc plated with detailing for added grip and they have a long-lasting return spring.

The applications include - Repetitive ‘top cutting’ of springs in mattress and bed production, and wire spring making. Cutting hard wire in various metal-fabrication operations (such as annealed tie wire used on reinforced rods or braided reinforced concrete mesh).
