TIMCO exterior green decking screws are economical, high-performance timber fixings developed specifically for softwood decking and other exterior timber construction. This large trade tub contains 2,000 screws sized 4.5 x 50mm, making it ideal for decking installations, landscaping work and larger projects where a reliable supply of consistent fixings is required.

The screws are manufactured from carbon steel and finished with TIMCO's exterior green organic coating. The coating is designed for outdoor environments and is tested to withstand up to 500 hours in a salt-spray cabinet. TIMCO gives this finish a corrosion rating of 3, suitable for urban and industrial areas with a low salt atmosphere.

A double countersunk head with ribs helps the screw seat neatly into timber while reducing the likelihood of surface damage. The helix shank assists debris removal and improves clamping as the screw is driven, helping to reduce timber jacking. A sharp 25° point and single lead provide a fast start and improved thread acceptance. The PZ2 drive makes these screws compatible with a widely used Pozi driver bit.
